法籍，加拿大籍画家 建筑学家 教授

 　　1941 年生于法国。罗德-卡姆 任加拿大蒙特尔大学建筑设计教授。他毕业于蒙特尔绘画与雕塑学院。自1965 年起在加拿大古艺画廊开始个人画展。之后，在加拿大，法国，日本多次举行个展和联展。他的艺术是混合材料，可属新自由人物写意派。从主题和定位，色调上，吸取世界艺术史各流派的影响。

　　Born in France   in 1941, Roger Camous settled in Montreal (Canada) in 1963. He is actually honorary professor at the School of industrial design, University of Montreal. Graduated in engineering  in France and in architecture in Canada, he studied also painting and sculpture at the School of Fine Arts of Montreal. His carreer embraces teaching in art and design, architecture, product design and artistic works. His first solo exhibitions were held in 1965 and 1966 (Gallerie Ars Classica, Montreal). During is academic carreer, he has been involved in many group exhibitions. His recent solo exhibitions took place in Lyon, France, in 2003 and 2005 (Galerie INSA), in Montreal, Canada in 2007 and 2009 (Galerie Le 1040) and in Kyoto, Japan in 2010 (Gallery-a).

　　The art works of Roger Camous are using many different mediums : ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic or mix media. His recent  works are mainly  acrylic on canvas in small formats as well as in large ones. Since 1990, his style can be related to the New figuration artistic trend. The choices of subjects, compositions and colors are taking roots in different periods of the History of Art.
