Brief history of the gallery:

Xin Dong Cheng Space for Contemporary Art was founded in year 2000 in Beijing (China). His vocation is to establish a cultural bridge between China and the rest of the world. His objective is to give the Chinese public an opportunity to widen his knowledge about western modern and contemporary art after half a century of interruption. It also leads the western public towards a discovery and appreciation of this new contemporary art coming from China that is already widely appreciated in international art circles.

程昕东国际当代艺术空间2000年成立于北京（中国），在中国与世界各国之间建立了一座文化的桥梁，其作用是在东西方当代艺术中断半个世纪的交流之后，为中国大众提供了开阔视野的机会。它也引领西方公众去发现和欣赏来自中国的崭新的当代艺术，同时也在很大的程度上拓展了大众对国际艺术的鉴赏力。
