Li Guangming firmly believes that Chinese Ink Art is full of vitality. He has expressed his idea in the preface of Ink Society: “The reason why we bring forward Ink Society is to reconfirm the value system of Chinese culture and art, to confirm the universality of Chinese Ink expedition, to confirm that Chinese Ink can give impetus to the development of world’s contemporary arts, to confirm that Chinese Ink can remedy the chaos in Contemporary Art, to confirm that Chinese Ink Painting can boost our national confidence and respect, to confirm that Chinese Ink has a great discourse power in the world.
As we can figure out, Li Guangming is not only a great artist, but also an idealist who spare no efforts to realize his cultural ideal.
